Paul’s Tomb Trail in Kelowna is a 2.68 km trail (45 minutes one way) in Knox Mountain Park. These photos are from the very first time I walked this trail in 2010. I fell in love. I thought I was in some faraway luxurious tropical retreat right here at home.
It’s all downhill towards the tomb (yes, there is an actual tomb, but I’ll let you find it yourself). Be prepared for a bit of a hike on the way back. I was very happy to discover “strategically” placed benches on the hill for the final bit of climb…
Take in the whole experience. Bring water and delicious lunch (include some Okanagan fruits and veggies). There is also a beautiful spot to swim in at the end of the hike.
I’ll just let you look. Soak it all in. It’s more stunning in person!
Yes, the Okanagan skies are this blue!
When: Knox Mountain Park is open from 6:00 am until 10:00 pm
Dogs? Yes – on leash please!! My dog is not happy to have an unleashed dog running straight for her – even if said dog is supposedly friendly and “trained.”
